“Ruach Bible Church,
A place where God is.”
The word Ruach is a Hebrew Word and its base meaning is “Moving Air” whether in the form of “breath” or “wind”. In the Hebrew Bible the Word Ruach occurs almost 400 times and is found in almost 100 places in the English Bible and is rendered “wind’. Ruach is also commonly interchangeable with the Greek Word “pneuma”. RU-ACH is pronounced (Roo-ach) – Ach like in the pronunciation of the word sock, or lock) Most often in English Bibles Ruach is translated as “Spirit” this is the Immaterial Dimmension of a Human being or of God. God’s Ruach is his soul etched characteristics. Ruach denotes divine power over the spirit world and is the “God element” given to man when he breathed into the nostrils of His most prized creation, Adam. Genesis 2:7 ” And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Without the Ruach of God in man, there would be no distiction between Humanity and all other created things. without the breath of god inside of us we would have no ability to Worship as only we(Humans) can.
Genesis 1:26-28King James Version (KJV)
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
The Ruach or “breath of God” in man sets us apart. Not only do we look like God (have his Image) but we think, and act and sound like Him.(We have his soul/ “Likeness”)
At Ruach Bible Church we believe without the Spirit of God being in everything we do, we as the Church would be nothing more than a form.
2 Timothy 3:5 King James Version (KJV)
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
